Title

Should the film be referred to as Scream 6 or as Untitled Scream sequel? While the former is the common name, that doesn't change the fact that its official title is still unknown. Despite the 5th installment also being commonly referred to as Scream 5, its official title is just Scream, being what the page's title is as well. -- PanagiotisZois ( talk) 10:46, 12 June 2022 (UTC) reply

Scream 6 Untitled Scream sequel – Film isn't named Scream 6. ★Trekker ( talk) 11:34, 4 July 2022 (UTC) reply

Support, per StarTrekker; though sources off-handedly refer to it as "Scream 6", there is no confirmation that this film is indeed titled that, considering that the previous entry abandoned naming conventions. BOTTO ( TC) 22:42, 5 July 2022 (UTC) reply

"(stylized as SCREAIVI)"

Can someone please delete this? There's a difference between stylizing the title (such as "SCR3AM" or "SCRE4M") and what's going on here. In those former two examples, the numeral acts as an obvious replacement for a letter and the overall title still makes sense. Are we seriously suggesting that "SCREAIVI" is in the same mould? The "VI" doesn't replace or split the "M"; it's a purely graphical flourish. "SCREAIVI" makes zero sense. Dewey and Gale were married during the time between Scream 3 and Scream 4. In between the time of Scream 4 and Scream (2022), they were divorced. Dewey was murdered by Amber Freeman in Scream (2022); Gale has a boyfriend in New York who is murdered by Quinn Bailey. KaleeBR ( talk) 20:35, 5 June 2023 (UTC) reply

Filmed in 3D

Is this true and if so why is it no in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.107.33 ( talk) 22:09, 5 February 2023 (UTC) reply

Because it was not filmed in 3D. It is a 3D, 4DX and Dolby Atmos format being displayed at a fan event shown at Regal Theaters. [1] Mike  Allen 22:24, 7 February 2023 (UTC) reply

Jasmin Savoy Brown

For some reason, the poster billing block does not include her. The standard convention on film articles is to follow the billing block on the poster, but in this case it does appear to be an error. The UK official site currently displays a billing block that includes Brown, but within the site's assets there is also this other version without her, which is presumably the outdated version. Very odd. InfiniteNexus ( talk) 19:28, 26 February 2023 (UTC) reply

Skeet Ulrich

I watched the film last night, Skeet Ulrich still appears and is rightfully credited, but he is not a "cameo" as he isn't treated the same way as Jack Quaid who isn't even credited in the film's credits and only appears in one scene as a recorded video after the killers reveal. Ulrich is credited alongside the main cast in the credits of the film and appears in several scenes, even though he's still it for very little and as such should be acknowledged in the infobox along with the other cast members per their credits billing at the end of the film. Rockmusicfanatic20 ( talk) 00:49, 10 March 2023 (UTC) reply

He most definitively doesn't have a starring role to be inserted into the infobox. Mike  Allen 21:29, 11 March 2023 (UTC) reply

Notes in the plot

Can someone explain why the excess use of "notes" in the plot section is warranted? The characters explain when and who the killings are in THIS film making these "notes" useless scattered throughout the plot section. Who supports or opposes this? Mike  Allen 23:30, 23 March 2023 (UTC) reply

I'd say that I oppose this because it just feels unnecessary if the characters explicitly explain them throughout the film. Also, pretty much everyone knows the events of the other films that took place before Scream VI. Edwordo13 ( talk) 12:03, 24 March 2023 (UTC) reply
We can't just assume everyone reading this plot knows in which film each mentioned thing happened. The plot mentions stuff like "the 2011 killings" or the "Hollywood killings" but does every reader know in which of the five previous films those things happened? I would say those notes are necessary for context. AxGRvS ( talk) 20:23, 1 April 2023 (UTC) reply
