Please take great care when adding to a biography of a living person claims that someone has lied, particularly when the matter could cost them their job and reputation. I've adjusted the following claims:

I'm all for conciseness, but not at the expense of accuracy. It is true that Thompson was found to have falsely claimed to have a degree in Comp Sci.
There is good reason for the controversy section to dominate the biography: it's easily Scott Thompson's main claim to fame. Prior to it, few people recognized his name. Without it, this page would be little more than an ad for Scott and his services.
Particularly now, with the selection of Marissa Mayer at the helm of Yahoo!, and the role of Dan Loeb in her selection as well as the ouster of Scott Thompson, there is plenty of reason to delve into this subject. This isn't a forum for apologists or those who would prefer to dodge subjects.
