Can this page not now be moved to SAW - The Ride or SAW: The Ride, according to consensus? Makron1n ( talk) 17:47, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Hey fellow 'Saw: The Ride' enthusiasts-to-be. I'm looking at citing sources for this article, does anyone know if the thorpe park website would be a suitable source? Or would I need other sources? (newspaper articles, for example) Felixshelton ( talk) 21:10, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

The correct spelling is actually 'SAW - The Ride', not 'Saw: The Ride. Please change this and look more carefully at the name of an article in future. -- 82.34.173.149 ( talk) 18:08, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Page moved to Saw – The Ride. There were two changes here. First was 'SAW' to 'Saw' which everyone supported. Then there was changing the '-' to a ':'. This had some support but was not supported by any of the park sources I could find. So only Saw was changed in lieu of relisting. If anyone can support the ':' being an official part of the name, then please renominate. Vegaswikian ( talk) 19:15, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
SAW – The Ride → Saw: The Ride — "Saw" should not be all caps, as it is being used as a word, not an acronym ( WP:CAPS); " - The Ride" to ": The Ride," as that is the more conventional formatting of subtitles. Trivialist ( talk) 12:27, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

that this be changed from SBNO to operating as it has reopened. source is Thorpe parks twitter where it stated that the ride would open on 10/07/15 at 7:30pm.

Psywave: According to this link, it states:
... I must stress that I do not actually DESIGN rides myself. I come up with basic ideas for the concept, and it is then over to others (architects, civil engineers, structural & mechanical engineers, etc. etc.) to actually create a ride ...
The "designer" parameter at {{ Infobox roller coaster}} represents the name of the company, group, or individual responsible for the engineering design of the ride. The engineer moves it from concept to an actual design, which is what this field is meant to represent. Wardley is only responsible for the concept and/or theme of each ride, and he clarifies this on his web site. Past discussions have also concluded not to list Wardley as the designer. Secondly, we should avoid YouTube citations like the one you cited, because it fails to meet the standards of a reliable source (see WP:VIDEOLINK). And finally, this is an interview, which is considered a primary source. That doesn't work. We need secondary source analysis to support your claim. RCDB is a good starting point, and the entry there for Saw doesn't list Wardley at all. -- GoneIn60 ( talk) 13:17, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
...designer John Wardley is involved in [the] development.but does not specifically say that he actually designed it. My thoughts so far is that he should not be included due to the fact that sources do not mention him as a designer. If a secondary source is found then I can support the re addition of the information. Harobouri • 🎢 • ðŸ—ï¸ (he/him) 23:49, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
