Suggested Improvements

Following suggestions:

  • By no means is this the only pre-war cinema building surviving in Nottingham, it is however the only one still in use as a cinema. Several stylistically similar art deco cinema building exist including The Futurist in Basford and The Capitol in Hyson Green. Text should be altered to make this clear.
  • There was a very detailed article on the Savoy in the Lenton Times, journal of the Lenton Local History Society. Details not to hand.
  • Nottingham Civic Society have fairly recently published a book on cinemas in the city. Semudobia ( talk) 23:01, 28 December 2019 (UTC) reply
