Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on
Sambar deer. Please take a moment to review
my edit. You may add {{
cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{
nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{

Changes were made recently to two references, without any explanation as to why
The most profound change was the removal of the page numbers. Page numbers are useful. The point of having references is so that a reader, or editor, can go back to the source material and check for themselves that the information provided is correct. Providing page numbers makes this task easier, so that the relevant section can be found, instead of hunting through the entire book. I cannot think of any good reason that the page numbers were removed.
Other issues include
I made changes to the references as noted above, and used the 'cite book' template. Jameel the Saluki ( talk) 06:52, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Rusa (genus) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — RMCD bot 00:50, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
