I've changed every "Holland" into The Netherlands, for that is the official translation of Nederland (Dutch for "The Netherlands"). -- Robster1983 21:31, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Saariko ( talk) 19:49, 24 October 2008 (UTC) It says that the ship launched in 1936, however, Ellis island records show this ship manifest in harbor already by 1923. Was there a different ship? Are the dates wrong?
Is this the ship that repatriated thousands of Dutch citizens after they were freed from the camps in Indonesia after WW2? There's a news article here (Dutch) that says their unfateful journey was made with the Nieuw Amsterdam.
