Ryan Watts →
Ryan Watts (footballer) – Hopefully this is not a controversial move; I've opened this discussion just to be safe. Recently-ish I started the article
Ryan Watts (politician) and added a hatnote to this article; it seems that there is
WP:NOPRIMARY topic, so a disambiguation page should be created at
Ryan Watts – see
pageviews and check the "Logarithmic scale" box to see that neither gets many page views.

Is the candidate notable before he's been elected?

I second this query especially since the candidate does not have much other notability. Also nb

Oppose. As a mere candidate, I'm not sure why we even have an article about the politician. We don't usually have articles about political candidates. All candidates are covered by the news; that doesn't mean they're notable. --

Support. There's no
WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The oppose vote disputes the notability of the politician but
WP:AFD is the venue for that and shall that article be deleted, this page would uncontroversially be moved back to fill the title vacancy. The editor whose username is Z0 15:41, 8 July 2018 (UTC)reply
