I've just added the few names from the books' 'Dramatis Personae' lists, as I have no desire to read through all nineteen novels at this point in time for other names and information. Someone else can elaborate what's there and add to it. Saberwyn 02:49, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
Stop taking off Doran. He is a verifiable pilot in Star Wars. He is in Battlefront and in the movies. 'commander 22:13, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi: over on Wookieepedia, it's been pointed out that Doran Kruton is just a name the game gives to random NPC pilots in the game, so his existence in Star Wars canon is questionable, and any attempt to pin down what he did is very uncertain. Someone also said it was spelled Krotan, not Kruton. We're likely going to delete or heavily rewrite our article there, possibly by moving it to "List of automatically generated NPC names in Star Wars:Battlefront" and adding other names. However, I suspect you need to remove him entirely from this article. — Silly Dan (talk) 20:18, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
My research has shown that the recently-added pilot "Duron Voltros" is the online persona of a KOTOR fan; I have deleted references to this pilot from the article. – Mipadi 16:09, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
He is listed as Garven Dreis in the List of minor Rebel Characters in Star Wars. Which is correct? -- Funkmaster 801 06:19, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Since the pilot entries on this page often get linked to, and because the articles for Rogue Squadron pilots are spread across several articles and Star Wars lists, I would like to replace the pilots section with a separate article called List of Rogue Squadron pilots. I'm currently working on an article and it's mostly done, but I'd like some feedback on the work. Could some editors leave comments about the page? The working copy is located here: User:Mipadi/List of Rogue Squadron pilots. Please leave comments on that page's talk page. Thanks a lot! – Mipadi 16:41, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
This article is getting unwieldy. Not only is the list of pilots long, but just the TOC to show the list of pilots is long, too. Furthermore, the pilots section contains a lot of pilots that are not notable and do not really belong in the article. I think it's a good idea to have a brief list of some notable Rogue Squadron pilots, but there's no need to list, with a brief description, every pilot that has served in Rogue Squadron. It's not encyclopedic, nor does it meet Wikipedia's fiction guidelines.
That is why I have prepared an edit of the article. It cleans up the list a bit and makes it more of a list, rather than a long list of various sections. The pilots are alphabetized. Articles note when the pilot joined Rogue Squadron, along with other important information. Pilots with articles elsewhere have links as well. Let me know what you think. Please leave comments on the edit page's talk page. Thanks. – Mipadi 17:46, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

The TIE ace and Imperial legend was captured and later defected to Rogue Squadron. Why isen't he in there? Rogue Squadron also worked hard with Aggressor Wing lead by Salm (a group of attack Y-Wings that contributed to many of Rogue Squadron's missions). Aggressor Wing even saved Rogue Squadron on the failed mission of Sate. I think they are worth mentioning AWP_Lizard
It says that Kasan Moor was an Imperial pilot in the 128th Tie Interceptor Squadron, "The Best of the Best." I thought the 181st Tie Fighter Squadron was the elite, who Baron Fel was a legendary member of. (They even had custom red stripes on their interceptor panels.) User:Hibbidyhai
I'm working on rewriting this article so it takes a more "out-of-universe" perspective. Unfortunately, not all the pieces are there yet. It would be great if other editors could help out by expanding the "Concept and creation" section, work on the "History" section, and expand some pilot bios (without going overboard), especially with an eye towards making it more "out of universe". As always, more references would be awesome, too. – Mipadi 14:34, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
I remember him being rescued by Kyle Katarn in Dark Forces, yet it says Rogue Squadron saved him in this article. Am I misremembering Dark Forces, or is a direct contradiction here? – Xoid 14:49, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Despite what was initially stated in the article and what others may want to believe, Porkins did not crash into the Death Star. His X-Wing exploded in flight. We have it on the highest authority here [1]. And I quote:
His fighter was hit by the Imperial weapons emplacement, bursting into fiery fragments, and killing Porkins immediately.
Alcarillo 20:55, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Take a look at the article about Star Wars Canon. The movies are G-canon, while the EU is C-canon, which would mean that Porkins didn't crash. - hobbie 06:22, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Forgive me if I'm wrong here, but I've been unable to find a specific article on, or a mention in here of Gavin Darklighter. It seems like he'd be a pretty notable character for the squadron, given that at the time of the Yuuzhan Vong war he's in command of it, and had some pretty notable actions prior to the Vong war. He might not be as deserving of his own article as say, Corran Horn or even Tycho Celchu, but he should at least have a section listed on the Rogue Squadron page, no?
