Love lost in translation

Every time "confesses" is used here it seems to be a direct translation of Japanese, which in Japanese implies professing ones affection love or crush.

Should be changed to "confesses/declares/professes his love" Otherwise it sounds like they are admitting to some sort of crime. 103.142.65.59 ( talk) 05:16, 21 August 2022 (UTC) reply

告白 in Japanese does mean "confess" in general and doesn't always have romantic implications. I think it's fine the way it is. lullabying ( talk) 07:56, 21 August 2022 (UTC) reply
