On-line genealogy sites note that Rivlin is divorced and has a child or children from a previous marriage. Nechama is apparently his second wife. But I cannot find any reliable English language references that say if he was previously married. Is this something that could be checked on the Hebrew language version of his bio?

I noticed that someone had changed Rivlin's place and country of birth to "Jerusalem, Israel". This is anachronistic, as Israel didn't exist when he was born - Jerusalem was in Mandatory Palestine at the time. The place of birth field in Wikipedia articles refers to the territory in which the place of birth was at the time of the person's birth - thus, for instance, Shimon Peres is listed as being born in "Wiszniew, Poland", as it was at the time, not Vishnyeva, Belarus, as it is now. Rivlin is the president of Israel and his place of birth is Jerusalem Israel. The change to "Jerusalem" was clearly from political or Anti-Semitism reasons. This means that Wikipedia isn't an objective source of information. Efimisha ( talk) 04:53, 16 May 2015 (UTC)

In the first sentence, please replace "politician and lawyer serving as the 10th" with "politician and lawyer who has served as the 10th" because the gerund sounds awkward, almost like a gerundive that doesn't really fit in English. 208.95.51.53 ( talk) 13:21, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
I have to ask, did this happen as described in the article? [1]. Or did they get some detail wrong? I can't see it in the history. Gråbergs Gråa Sång ( talk) 11:20, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
