You know, the modern realist american painter? He deserves an entry in Wikipedia. — Preceding

Other people add redlinks to disambiguation pages, but I don't, especially for a human being because he would often be called "John Register" or "Mr. Register" rather than "Register". I'm not sure if he's well known enough, but if he is then I think he should have his own article first.

This DAB currently has several dozen incoming links from article space, mostly via redirects. The largest proportion of these are links to
Register (linguistics), which was a parenthetical disambiguation until it was redirected here on 22 January 2013. Most of the pages linking there probably should be changed to
Register (sociolinguistics), but a few may need to go to
Register (phonology). Any help in changing these and other incoming links to the proper destination would be appreciated.
