I recently added a Ratchet & Clank (PS3) page and I think we should add it to the Ratchet & Clank series listings thing on the bottom with the other listed games. - W.A.C. (7/20/06)
Someone should add the next game onto the listing. I tried but there was an error so it was over the other. Also PlayStation All-stars battle royale should be removed because Ratchet and Clank havn't been confirmed as playable characters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonny Armstrong ( talk • contribs) 19:39, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
So, out of our two confirmed Lombaxes, only one has a last name. Maybe RC5 will reveal that Ratchet is an orphan or will deal with his parents?
Enough baseless speculation for now.
I find the structure of the Lombax body to be similar to an anthropomorphic liger (a lion/tiger hybrid: dad's gotta be the lion, mom's gotta be the tigress). Why? Because the other parentage results in a tigon. As for why I think Lombaxes are closer to ligers . . .
Tiger Features: Stripped fur. Lion Features: Leonine tail.
I admit, it's a rather simple theory, but I find them far more similar to the hybrid big cats than to domestic cats.
Come to think of it, I refered to Ratchet as a liger before he was defined as a Lombax in Going Commando. --Bear Eagleson 21:51, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
FANGIRLS??? What? Ok, whoever wrote this: can you please change that? That just sounds sickening. I'll admit, Lombaxes are sorta cute, but FANGIRLS??? Come on... --Ann Nonymous-- 71.145.176.152 22:50, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Can anyone cite this PSP Clank game addition?
Can anyone confirm this game's existence? I have tried looking around for it, and cannot find any information on this game save for this page.
Is there a reason why the section for this game was deleted? The information for it was cited, and the edit it was removed in showed no reason for it's deletion. I just don't get it. Lijik March 28 2007
I have reason to believe the current description of the species Lombax is in some form incorrect, mostly because I have found two sources that note the difference in ear noted here as male and female is INFACT a trat to the two diferant SUB species of lombax (ie, its not "boys have big ears, girls have long ears - its big eard lombaxes are a diferant race of lombax"
the only problem with this theory is that BOTH are unnoficial.
anyone care to point me towards official info?

Image:Ratchetandclanklogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot ( talk) 03:57, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

The image Image:Ratchet.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

this section is reffering to the anon edits http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Ratchet_%26_Clank_(series)&diff=262673062&oldid=262618337 which were reverted by Fantasydragon
I decided to take a look and see who appeared to be right since neither side had given any explanation in thier edit summary.
While the news post the anon referenced does indeed use the name "ratchet and clank future: tools of technology" the presentation it links to seems to be about tools of destruction and the news post says it was originally presented between the releases of tools of destruction was released quest for booty.
Maybe it was simply a typo, maybe it is indeed the name of a game in development and they got the games mixed up. Either way I don't think it's strong enough evidence to put a direct statement in a wikipedia article about the title of the next game (in other words I agree with fantasydragons revert).

Ratchet & Clank (series) → Ratchet & Clank — Since the launch of the first game Ratchet & Clank has developed into a wide series consisting of numerous games, a sub-series, manga and action figures. Thus Ratchet & Clank is now more commonly referred to as a series rather than as simply the first game. The move is also supported by the disambiguation section of the naming conventions for the series. Hence the first game should be moved to Ratchet & Clank (video game) and the series page should be moved to Ratchet & Clank. An example of how this has been done before is that Final Fantasy directs to the series page while the first game, Final Fantasy is under Final Fantasy (video game) KiasuKiasiMan ( talk) 12:45, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

I am proposing a rewrite of the article. The biggest change is probably the games section, where I suggest one lump of prose rather than going in too much detail about every single game. I'll try to find enough sources to include a development section, and I've also been trying to order the content as logically as possible. Details are found here.
Any constructive input, suggestions and/or contributions are appreciated!
