![]() | On 26 October 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved from Rama Raya (statesman) to Aliya Rama Raya. The result of the discussion was moved. |
The name of the page as per Wikipedia:UCRN guidelines should be Rama Raya. Rama Raya is the most commonly used variant of the name in most scholarly sources. Aliya Rama Raya only seems to be a regional variant of it. For example, editors of Encyclopedia Britannica, Richard Eaton, and numerous other scholars seem to be using Rama Raya as the standard name. As per the policy of using commonly recognizable names, the name should be Rama Raya and should be moved accordingly. Let me know your thoughts. Reo kwon ( talk) 06:14, 6 November 2020 (UTC)
Reo kwon "Aliya * (son-in-law) — a title often given to Rama Raya", refer to the source, unnecessarily don't move the page https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.282973/page/n64/mode/1up?view=theater&q=aliya+ — Preceding unsigned comment added by CatTheMeow ( talk • contribs) 06:53, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

Rama Raya (statesman) → Aliya Rama Raya – Better to previous version and original name as per historical records and books CatTheMeow ( talk) 15:59, 26 October 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. Jenks24 ( talk) 11:14, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
