RS can also stand for Religious Studies, a subject taught in many schools. The abbreviation R.S. is frequently used for this subject. /info/en/?search=Religious_studies — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7D:7AF0:FA00:AD92:834:AD47:2FA0 ( talk) 14:56, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
According to the RS-232 page the RS stands for RETMA Standard, not Radio Standard Cocjh1 15:36, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
The two articles are almost identical! -- ChoChoPK (球球PK) ( talk | contrib) 08:03, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
This seems very straight-forward to me. There was nothing to even merge in, so I have made it a redirect and removed the proposed merge templates. I redirected Rs to here and I have put Rs (disambiguation) up for deletion (nothing links to it). If any of you disagree, feel free to remove the {{ prod}} and we can go from there. - grubber 19:05, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Please note that a person should be generally known as "RS" before adding him/her here. Having the initials R.S. is generally not enough. -- NeilN talk ♦ contribs 19:39, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
