The following info is unsuitable for a Dab page, and may or may not be in the articles where it would be suitable:

  • Re places:
    • Many (the page implied all, but then contradicted this with some specific exceptions; the revisions could be inspected to determine which ones were on the page at the time the assertion was made, and whether any source verifying it for them was cited) of the places are named for Israel Putnam.
    • As to Putnam County, Florida (It is not certain as to whether this one was named for Israel Putnam. There is also a possibility that it was named for Benjamin A. Putnam, an officer in the First Seminole War and local Florida politician.)
    • Putnam County, Ohio (some sources say it was named for his cousin Rufus Putnam)

Michael Putnam, on this page is a described as a classicist, when in reality, the link leads to the description of a golfer. There are two notable Michael Putnam--one is a golfer and one is a classicist. I'll go through and change the description on this page, and perhaps I will make a real page for the classicist Michael Putnam in the future.
