What is the purpose of this test? Biscuittin ( talk) 21:46, 26 August 2009 (UTC) reply

Since it pulls off a layer of the concrete (assuming the adhesive works as intended) it measures how strongly the concrete holds to itself, and hence how strong the concrete is in tension. RJFJR ( talk) 04:20, 9 January 2011 (UTC) reply
Wrong answer. The pull-off adhesion test measures the force necessary to pull-off a coating from its substrate, whether it's concrete, steel, wood or plastic
