Portrayal of women in film noir → Portrayal of women in film – This is specific to a single film genre, but could make an interesting topic if expanded to the wider film industry. Wikipedia is greatly lacking on the subject of portrayal in cinema — just have a look in Category:Cultural depictions of women. There is a lot of discussion in the wider world and time for Wikipedia to catch up. Cnbrb ( talk) 08:51, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
The article seems to be a cut and paste of a sociology paper and the tone seems inconsistent with the standard of Wikipedia. Short direct statements with unsubstantiated sources or quotes taken from direct sources (in this case movies) that are included as part of the article with bad structure. The content of the article could be good but reading it, it sounds like it's written for someones high school homework. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pi patrol ( talk • contribs) 10:25, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
