Fashion designers, models, and other influencers have a big significant impact on what is considered stylish and fashionable at any given time. The industry also has a substantial influence on advertising, media, and entertainment, as well as on the beauty and cosmetics industries. The fashion industry also plays a role in popular culture through its impact on social issues. The industry has the power to challenge societal norms and values by promoting diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability in its advertising. By championing these causes, the fashion industry does shape public perceptions and promotes change. Rjensen ( talk) 20:37, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
