"Blitzkrieg"

The term "blitzkrieg" for the assault of Labienus in Asia Minor seems a bit anachronistic in light of the fact that that article mentions "a dense concentration of armoured and motorised or mechanised infantry formations with close air support, ..." The article also defines it as such: The word, meaning "lightning war" or "lightning attack" in its strategic sense describes a series of quick and decisive short battles to deliver a knockout blow to an enemy state before it could fully mobilize. This definition looks to be a good fit in this article's context. -- Z 10:58, 9 July 2018 (UTC) reply
