In 1901, the town also had a post office and a general merchant named Jesse DeLisle--both of which I know from a stamped envelope in my collection. But I don't know how to cite this encyclopedically in accordance with Wikipedia standards. In addition, the stamped envelope shows it was delivered to St. Louis via the St. Louis & Texas Railway, which implies Point Pleasant was on the railway.
