California?

It isn't clear to me why he's categorized as being from California, so I am changing it to Florida in the categories. Feel free to add the CA one back if it's relevant. - PhilipR ( talk) 03:00, 28 September 2009 (UTC) reply

NY or FL?

The NFL page has him born in FL, but the article here says NY. Anyone know? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.143.35.102 ( talk) 18:20, 1 February 2012 (UTC) reply

Retired?

Is he “former” or a free agent because it says free agent but the info box says his numbers like it does for former players Bears247 ( talk) 22:17, 5 April 2020 (UTC) reply

It's been over a year since he's been under contract with a team, and hasn't received any interest from teams in that time period so I'm changing his stuff to say he's a former player. Again, "retired" indicates a player has voluntarily decided to leave the profession, but in most cases a player doesn't get a say in the matter. "Former" is much more neutral in this respect.
