Philippines national rugby union teamPhilippine National Rugby Union Team – The word "Philippines" can only be a noun, and it can't act as an adjective, thus, "Philippine" is used which is an adjective. (eg. Philippine National Police, Philippine National Red Cross, Philippine National Railways, etc) Thinkbeforeyoupost ( talk) 04:01, 12 July 2011 (UTC) reply

I have no opinion or preference for "Phillipine" or "Phillipines" but the capital letters in "National Rugby Union Team" shouldn't be there. -- Mattinbgn ( talk) 20:56, 12 July 2011 (UTC) reply
Agree on the capitalisation (as per Mattingbn) but note that other articles use the name of the country e.g. England national rugby union team not the adjective and so the article should stay where it is. The use of the country name is consistent with the naming policies used in other sports e.g. England national football team. GordyB ( talk) 21:37, 12 July 2011 (UTC) reply
So they do, I never really thought about that before. Previous moves have been justified citing Wikipedia:Naming conventions, which I assume is the WP:Noun part. AIRcorn  (talk) 23:51, 12 July 2011 (UTC) reply
