Unnecessary and fragmented to have separate articles, could easily be presented on the main phalanx article. Fragmentation reduces quality and leads to needless duplication of content. LT910001 ( talk) 02:38, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

Phalanges – TA Latin synonym and English equivalent. More often referred to even in merged pages. Google hits show 470K for phalanx and 660K for phalanges. Even Wiki entry comes up as phalanges.

I suggest we separate the article for phalanges of the foot, you do not merge metacarpals with metatarsals, you are not supposed to merge scalp hair with pubic hair, so I would propose we make a separate article for phalanges of foot and the hand. DrJanaOfficial ( talk) 18:18, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
