Uh, hey guys? MAX Wisdom is not in an alternate universe. It's still 616, as evidenced by his various phone calls to Kitty Pryde and other Marvel characters.
Could whoever added the quote please attribute proper citation for it? (I'm not even sure it should be in the article proper; maybe Wikiquote: Warren Ellis might be a better place for it.) Fastbak77 06:53, 28 September 2005 (UTC)
When I woke up this morning, I wanted to add the datum that his mother was killed in the Hungerford massacre (which she was; apparently Ben Raab hadn't realized this was a historical event and tried to portray the killer as having been superpowered). However, now that I'm more conscious, I'm wondering if that's genuinely relevant to the article. Thoughts? DS 12:58, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
Should there be some mention of the speculation that Wisdom is a Mary Sue of Warren Ellis?
Hasn't there been some quote, probably from Warren Ellis, that Pete Wisdom was created as an analog of John Constantine? -- AvatarMN 23:20, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Okay, let's take this by list.
1) Wisdom's mom was detailed as having been shot by a madman in the Pryde and Wisdom limited series.
2) Why can't an alternate universe Peter call alternate universe Kitty Pryde? The existence of Kitty doesn't mean the MAX series takes place on Earth 616.
3) And last but most importantly, the -entire- article is all sorts of weird. The Fictional Character biography is broken up into multiple, redundant sections! I wouldn't even know where in the crying out loud to -begin-.

Hi. I don't have an account, but felt I needed to comment on this article. Firstly it is neccesary to mention that at no point whatsoever has the Wisdom MAX series ever been publicly labelled as out of continuity. And now that Paul Cornell has been given writing chores on Excalibur I should imagine that this will become even clearer so.
I also find the comment upon Kitty Pryde's age to be a little misleading. Ellis was arguably not the first or ewven second writer to wriute Kity in this age range on Excalibur. Lobdell did before him, And Alan Davis quite intentionally drew Kity as slightly older than her Uncanny X-Men appearances from the very start of Excalibur - based on the appearance of Cathryne Hepburn.
It should also be noted that Wisdom did indeed fake his death in X-Force. Alistaire Stuart knew about it, as he was in on the act, but it was never revealed to X-Force in any way shape or form, so to say that they were shocked is simply not true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.149.10.88 ( talk) 00:26, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Image:Wisdom1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
