They took it from here, with a note to that effect. And that's fine. Haukur ( talk) 07:49, 14 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Should we really have a full-fledged literary analysis of Othello in an encyclopedia article? I can understand using an example from Shakespeare, but this is a bit much. Bkwrmgrl1 ( talk) 01:56, 4 March 2008 (UTC) reply

I agree that it is too much. Bamkin ( talk) 23:04, 16 March 2008 (UTC) reply

I think that the stuff on Peter Szondi is too detailed and a bit off-topic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.123.240.38 ( talk) 16:21, 29 October 2011 (UTC) reply

Direction of Reversal

The first sentence mentions "reversal of circumstances" but I am not sure if this is bad -> good, or good -> bad or can it be either? — Preceding

Pronunciation

Currently the pronunciation (IPA) guide is /ˌpɛrəpɨˈtaɪ.ə/. Why is there "ai" instead of what should be a long 'a' (Japanese ei) sound? I've studied multiple languages, including ancient Greek, and this does not seem to be the likely pronunciation. - Cyborg Ninja 20:26, 23 July 2013 (UTC) reply
