There is no reason to believe that Eli Bradley's name is anything but "Eli." He is never referred to in any of the comics as anything but "Eli," and "Eli" is not an abbreviation of "Elijah" (cf. "John" and "Jonathan"). The fan-editable Marvel database does not constitute evidence in and of itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Publius ( talk • contribs) 00:25, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Well the official Marvel Universe online states his name as Elijah "Eli" Bradley, not just Eli Bradley. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.53.54.143 ( talk) 16:39, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Been cleaning up this article. I think it reads at least a little better now... And a new image would also help things look less... Skanky... -- Avengers fan 20:05, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
Wait a tic, I'm not terribly up to date on comics, but wasn't Cap's original triangular shield destroyed by Mister Hyde during the Mansion Siege by the Masters of Evil, way back in, oh, the late eighties, around Avengers #270-277 or so? How would Elijah have Cap's original, bulletproof shield? DoctorWorm7 05:34, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm not familiar with the stories outright to insert the text, but I assume that Patriot is the son of Josiah X. If such is the case it would be helpful to include that more clearly in the text. 66.109.248.114
Image:Patriotya.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot ( talk) 19:27, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Due to the similar nature of this name, is it worth putting in the disambiguation note for Norman Osborn? Nym ( talk) 02:05, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
