Not a criteria to delete the article. If you want it deleted and redirected them use the AfD process. I'm restoring and will find references. Also deleting content and stating "certainly the most imnaccuarte article i have read on wikipedia" when you don't understand the context of the article (which is stated as a Northern Ireland food) can be construed as vandalism. Pastie and pasty are two different foods that share a very similar name.

Well I'll give you a few days to get some refs or afd it, and I disagree that lack of sourcing is a poor reason for redirecting. Your vandalism comment was so off the wall I will not respond to it except to say good faith edits are never vandalism. Please don't do it again. Thanks,
