I doubt the map is correct. It shows both kingdom exerting influence over eastern India and part of Indo-China despite the fact that on India eastern shore, there was the Chola while on Indochina, Khmer Empire. __earth ( Talk)
How can that so called King have Indian name (Parameswara) and being a Hindu if he is Macedonian descendant? What a Rubbish !!!!!
.:My Reply:.
Rubbish, eh? Have you checked what you have written? What is wrong with you and your grammar, man!? It is not "What a Rubbish!!!!!" It is "What Rubbish" Where did you learn your grammar? A monkey!? Speaking of monkeys, why do you have to complain? People have eyes you know, I bet they SEE that that there was an error. Why do you even bother complaining? Complaining won't get you anything, FYI. And in case you don't know what FYI is, and I bet you probably don't, it means for your information. I hope you learned your lesson, you idiot. Because it is an important one.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.87.164.32 ( talk • contribs)
hey mind your words.Your grammar is worst than me.My grammar is not rubbish. You idiot. Its my business whether want to complain or anything else. Why you bother with me.Parameswara is an Indian. You the one stupidly tell that he's not a Tamilian. You have seen that he's not tamilian?no right..then why you busy body wrote that he's not a tamilian.Next time mind your words if not I don't know what will I do.
Guys, stop arguing! It is not going to change anything. Alright, let me tell you. Parameswara was a Tamilian, but he changed his religion to Islam (don't know why) after he got married, and therefore changed his name to Sultan Iskandar Shah, on my opinion. Parameswara is undoubtedly a Sanskrit word for Lord Shiva the Hindu Trinity God. It not exclusive to Tamil only .Telugu ,Malayalee,Urdu and all of Hindu India know the Lord by that name. The Srivijaya empayar origin by its name alone tell us it did not suddenly appear by magic . So there would have been a great deal of interaction of culture , dynasty and blood line from india. Indian + native people= Srivijaya ppl. So we have common ancestry there. btw Genghis Khan & Alaxender we're not Tamil. Don't try to confuse ppl with Dravidian supremesy BS. The British did that ready. And do not associate tamil with a blood thirsty tyrant like Alexander who wasn't that great .Gengis Khan -would be fun to see him talk Tamil actually # won't happen. What is the basis of this communal rhetoric? Any prim. source which makes similar claims? TrangaBellam ( talk) 21:16, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
Please discuss before changing his religion to Islam. He was unquestionably a Hindu, but whether he converted to Islam or not is doubtful, and should not be changed in the infobox. The issue is discussed in the appropriate section, any claim can be added to that section with an authoritative source. Hzh ( talk) 17:17, 1 March 2022 (UTC)

Given that the illustration which formerly was used to illustrate Parameswara was deleted last year, would it be appropriate to use this photo of Keramat Iskandar Shah to depict him in his identity as Iskandar Shah? https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Keramat_Iskandar_Syah,_Fort_Canning_Park,_Singapore_-_20110924.jpg Altopian1 ( talk) 09:15, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
As per my last reply to the above enquiry, I have gained permission from Ms. Foo Swee Chin to upload her cover image for this graphic novel distributed by the Singaporean government: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Parameswara_of_Malacca_-_The_Sacking_of_Singapore_(Foo_Swee_Chin).jpg .
