I would sugest that if this topic gets merged anywhere it should be to Many worlds and possible worlds in literature and art as parallel universes now redirects to multiverse DV8 2XL 16:33, 1 September 2005 (UTC) reply

I would personally think that Many worlds and possible worlds in literature and art and Parallel world should both be merged with multiverse. Hogtree 11:25, 29 Sept 2005 (GMT)

  • That would make for a very large article. I still think that keeping this topic split between Possible world-for the philosophical concepts; multiverse-for the physical cosmology; and Many worlds and possible worlds in literature and art- for the treatment of the topic in fiction is best. The danger of conceptual bleed-through is real in dealing with these ideas and an effort was made in the first two instances to restrict the disusion to the areas at hand. Fictional treatments, unrestricted by the tenants of modal logic or method can engage in flights of fancy that philosophy and science may not. -- DV8 2XL 14:29, 29 September 2005 (UTC) reply
