Why is this article specific only to a water environment? Is the term 'hypoxia' not also used to describe a lack of oxygen in the human system as well? Such as high altitudes? 68.92.147.72 04:09, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
I was surprised to see that these two pages are separate - it seems to me that they describe essentially the same condition, just in different organisms. I reckon it'd make sense for them to be merged.
