If nobody had time to write these articles, it doesn't mean a dab page should be deleted at once! I just refuse to understand such policy. What if someone writes an article about two of these gentlemen, will you have to create the same dab page all over again?? This is just plain stupid.

I completely agree with you. Especially in the case of Russian names, such a dab is important to create consistency in the transliteration.
