The semi-legal international server of Online Bomberman was known as BMOworld. The server was operational for quite a long time, though they started forcing people to complete an "offer" (which was often a scam ad) as they couldn't get the cash in any other way. Recently, BMOworld changed to advertising a copy of Balanced Worlds' "Bomb Buddies" (which isn't a derivative of Online Bomberman).
