The history section seems to be a direct quote from The Florida Library History Project by Jasper, Catherine and McCook, Kathleen de la Pena (see [1]). I am tempted to delete it all but wanted to bring it here in case anyone has a better idea on how to improve this section of the article. Amscheip ( talk) 17:21, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
