It appears that the "official" romanization of "Rindo" is Lind. Cite: Aa! Megamisama Collection (a 15th anniversary commemorative reference volume), and the collected editions that Lind appears in.
One of the more noticeable traits of Skuld is her love for her sister Belldandy. Personally, I feel it is almost as if Belldandy was Skuld's mother! Because of this love, Skuld feared losing the attentions of her sister. In this case, Keiichi is her biggest "rival", since Belldandy loves him. Every time Belldandy and Keiichi try to get closer, physically or mentally, Skuld usually appears to spoil it, even though Urd has tried several times to stop this. I personally tire of it, since in these cases, not only is Skuld violating Keiichi's rights, but also Belldandy's. Does Skuld truly consider what Belldandy wants in these cases? I truly believe Skuld is being selfish in trying to hoard her sister's attention for herself. Perhaps she will learn someday, but I understand that Skuld's interference is part of what makes "Oh My Goddess!" so entertaining, so I will not argue any further. --Chameleon
The Almighty is perhaps the most powerful force in the "Oh My Goddess" story. As ruler of Heaven and Earth, he governs and maintains reality as we know it. While the Almighty is indeed wise, powerful and has the good of all at heart, I also feel that he is arrogant and controlling to a detrimental point. Throughout the story, he refuses to hear out any who would contradict his idea of law and order. When he suspends Urd's license, and then Urd becomes the Lord of Terror afterwards, the Almighty was prepared to kill Urd immediately to prevent the Lord of Terror from rising. While this act might have prevented much disaster, I also feel that the Almighty is being arrogant and uncaring, often doing things for people's own good without asking said people what they believe is good. The Almighty was so determined to enforce his word of law that any who defy him are declared deviant simply because they would not bend to his rules. This is an interesting question of law and chaos, instead of good and evil. The Almighty might be an example of law taken too far. --Chameleon.
I reverted and removed a lot of changes in the character section because a lot of information was redundant and not necessary on the main Oh My Goddess! page. Peorth, Rind and Mara all have their own pages, so information that is pertinant to their characters should go on their own specific pages, and not the main OMG! page. This will prevent the article from becoming too cluttered (especially considering that the character specific pages are generally sparce). This is the same reason why the main characters have no information on them on the main page, but links to their own specific pages. Also, be mindful of the links when editing. The links to Peorth, Rind and Mara were all removed in the prior edit, and I had to restore them in this edit. -- Js2756 13:47, August 26, 2005 (UTC)
I really think the two should be merged. "Sources" is not actually serving as a reference section, with footnotes or such, or at least referencing the actual series/manga/other canonical material. However... I did not do it because to merge them requires putting the "sources" into the OMG template, which would then show up on every page that has the template; said pages may not need those links, which then would be superfluous. So opinions? -- Maru (talk) 22:20, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
As the guys at the Featured Article noms said, the plot summaries are seriously messed up. I propose this: since the OVA and Tv series have pretty much the same plot, we give the basic plot at the original OVA (or possible manga; it might make more sense to start there), and then only list deviations and continuations under the respective subparagraphs. -- Maru (talk) 04:30, 14 September 2005 (UTC)
Well, I managed to get a track listing of the second TV OST, unfortunately, it's only in Romaji. I'm trying to get a friend to translate the titles into English, and if this page needs it, it could be translated back into Kanji as well: 1. Tenjoukai 2. Subtitle 3. Odaiyakana ichinichi 4. Hajimete Date 5. Sidecar ni notte 6. Marller 7. Urd bousou 8. Yukai na itazura 9. Skuld 10. Wakare 11. Kodoku 12. Kyuukyoku hakai Program 13. Eyecatch B (Although strangely, this is the same song as Eyecatch A on the TV OST 1..) 14. Urd vs. Marller Part 1 15. Urd vs. Marller Part 2 16. Makai 17. Akumu 18. Komatta Dekigoto 19. Zettai Zetsumei 20. Banpei-kun 21. Yureru omo 22. Koisuru futari 23. Nikyuu kami kanri gentei 24. Kyoufu no daiou 25. Shinobiyoru anun 26. Last Battle ~Libera me~ 27. Ashita ni mukatte 28. Well, I think the article is now nicely cleaned up, so there no need to do all this new layout and stuff.

I've tagged the article with a suggestion that multiple subarticles be cleaned up and merged back here. Per WP:MOS-AM, they should not be in separate articles as they are the same series, just different adaptations. They do not have significant enough differences to have separate, standalone articles. To facilitate discussion of each, I've made subsections below so they can be evaluated individually.-- AnmaFinotera ( talk · contribs) 16:54, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
This is a bit ridiculous...the article is titled "Oh My Goddess!" Well, that's not really the problem. The problem is, the rest of the article acts as if every facet of the franchise is title "Ah! My Goddess!". Take, for example, the manga. The article calls it "Ah! My Goddess! (manga)". Meanwhile, there's an image of one of the covers, which clearly says "Oh". The movie and TV series are different, since the they actually are titled "Ah", but everything else is "Oh"...— Loveはドコ? ( talk • contribs) 22:25, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
I'd really appreciate any help anyone who hangs around here might be able to offer with List of Oh My Goddess! chapters, especially in terms of confirming/clarifying the English release history in the lead, but also in regards to adding kanji and romaji chapter titles, adding/confirming cover characters, adding volume summaries, and updating the first 129 chapter titles to the ones in the most recent release. Any takers? 「 ダイノ ガイ 千?!」(Dinoguy1000) 19:22, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
In preparation for the merging, I reordered the article per WP:MOS-AM. I was tempted to remove the entire "Oh My Goddess! Universe" section as its a big huge plot/in-universe section, however I'm sure there is probably some useful information in there. However, the section is excessive and needs a huge paring down. Anyone more familiar with the various series want to tackle this clean up per WP:WAF?
I also think the "References to Norse mythology" is extremely excessive and needs a massive paring down. Its almost exclusively composing of a big list of individual, unsourced examples to back up the statement that "Fujishima has borrowed extensively from Norse mythology." This really needs to be redone as a single, well sourced bit of prose merged up with the rest of the main production section. Anyone have an actual source that backs up the statement without the semi-OR examples?
Meanwhile, I've started the merging with the merge of Oh My Goddess! (manga), which was fairly straightforward since its the primary work. -- AnmaFinotera ( talk · contribs) 08:23, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Naturally, the manga can be called Oh! My Goddess or with "Ah!" it really doesn't matter, you come to the same place if you Google it, but I can't tell the manga is bad, really, it's perfect!
I started to boldly delete a few unnecessary words for clarity, but ended up Boldly condensing and clarifying a lot more in the Universe section. :> I pruned a lot, and can still see much more to be pruned, but I really must sleep now. Regarding Norse references: Wouldn't (most of) that huge list at the bottom be better placed in List of Oh My Goddess! characters? This would accomplish 1) retaining the relevant information, 2) drastically shortening this article. I am considering taking on this move project as a phase 1 edit (meaning that I wouldn't be editing the textual contents, just moving them to their respective character pages). I will let this sit for a bit so everyone can ruminate while I go accomplish RL stuff. If no one objects (or beats me to it), I am inclined to make the moves. --Sleep Guy 68.90.226.168 ( talk) 16:49, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

1-555-GODDESS has the following bio of Kosuke Fujishima on something like page 1 (there's no page numbers or TOC, but it's right between the title page and the first page of the actual manga):
Kosuke Fujishima was born July 7, 1964 in the wilds of Chiba, Japan. It was soon determined that he was a human, with blood type B. He then proceeded to grow up and go to school. But let us draw a discreet curtain over those days.
After graduating from high school, Fujishima landed a job as an editor for Puff, a comics news magazine. While there, it is rumored he was responsible for the parody comic called "'X'-pa no Yoko-chan" that ran in Puff.
One of his jobs as editor was to interview Tatsuya Egawa, who was running his groundbreaking "Be Free!" serial in Kodansha's Comic Morning magazine at that time. After the interview, Fujishima mustered the nerve to ask Egawa if he needed an assistant. Egawa looked at Fujishima's work and said, "Sure!" Thus, our unsuspecting, young editor plunged into the abyss of comics-artist hell.
Fujishima generally dates his debut as a professional with the publication of a comics-style report he did for Comic Morning on the making of the 1986 live-action, theatrical-movie version of "Be Free!"
The fans loved his work, and Morning received a fan letter raving about the policewoman characters Fujishima had used in the Making of Be Free! report. He was inspired by this letter to create his first series, You're Under Arrest!, which began in Morning Party Extra in 1986.
In 1988, Fujishima did a four-panel gag cartoon that featured the characters from You're Under Arrest! praying to a goddess. This was part of a contest in which readers could win various You're Under Arrest! presents, such as T-shirts. In the cartoon, Miyuki and Natsumi were asking the goddess to please let them win the contest. Fujishima was so pleased with the way the goddess turned out that she became the basis for Belldandy and inspired the creation of the Oh My Goddess! series for Afternoon magazine.
So, as you can see, Fujishima's stories are often inspired by some minor characters he creates for another purpose entirely.
Fujishima has a ridiculous number of hobbies, including: playing electric guitar and with his new Mac, building plastic models and garage kits, and taking care of his numerous tropical fish. He also owns, rides, and repairs his seven (!) motorcycles and three cars. He listens to DMX — a digital, commercial-free radio service — while he works, and he likes classic American hard rock such as Van Halen and Bon Jovi. Fujishima also likes Japanese idol singers — in fact, there is a quite convincing rumor that the name "Morisato" (from Oh My Goddess!) comes from the name of the idol singer Moritaka Chisato.
There's quite a bit of stuff here that could potentially be mined for info or allow existing info in OMG! and related articles to be sourced, not to mention the additions that could be made to You're Under Arrest! and (of course) Kosuke Fujishima. 「 ダイノ ガイ 千?!」(Dinoguy1000) 00:47, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh My Goddess and Ah My Goddess were not the same story and I have always thought it was too big a coincidence that Belldandy found a way to bring her favors to Keiichi who just happened to be the boy she loved and the center of her guilt over his lost memories. I think that it is worth at least asking if the "Goddess Help Line" wasn't just a way for Belldandy to become re-involved in Keiichi's life? It was what she wanted and very romantic that, after lost memories and the passage of time that what she wanted was what he ask for. I got a different feeling from the "Ah My Goddess" series and this was the biggest difference between the two stories. I think it's a question worth asking. sorry about the advertisement. anyway, more info can be obtained via google. but i dont think all the research in Universe section should be mercilessly deleted...maybe thinned or relocated... Mace Windu ( talk) 00:01, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
But OMG sound like dumb shortcut to the english languige, though Chihiro in book... 21, I think, says OMG, anyhow... I would rather say just Oh!- or Ah! My Goddess! As it really calls, well, that's mine, have a nice day, folks, and read the freaking manga! It's aawesoome!!! ^3^ —Preceding unsigned comment added by SUPERFRASSE ( talk • contribs) 05:38, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
I've recently added news that a second OAD for Ah! My Goddess is set to be released on September 23rd, 2011. The new OAD will be bundled with Volume 43 of the manga tankouban series. 68.60.60.117 ( talk) 18:22, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
