Someone wrote that Northampton was 9.62km from Woodstock on the way to Upper Southampton. That number is an insanely over accurate version of "about 6 miles". Upper Southampton is so small it is unknown to anyone who does not already know both Upper Southampton and Northampton, so it is not a useful reference.
