The contents of the Nip-up page were
merged into
Kip-up on 31 October 2023 and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see
its history.
Oppose: "Nip-up" is a very specific and well-defined action that can be found in dictionaries and other RS. On the other hand, "kip-up" appears to be a loosely defined term for a variety of different actions (possibly including nip-ups, though I have yet to find RS that supports that hypothesis). A merger should only be considered after cleaning up
kip-up and resolving its RS issues, and then only if a content overlap still exists.

It is not apparent to me what the difference is between these practices. Even if a difference in definition can be established, it would seem better to discuss them on the same page given overlap in content.
