Nick's age
Other than what I've written, it was also stated by Amaro's father's lawyer that he had it for him for twenty years. Hence his age at 35.

Just before Nick enters the courtroom with Benson – and they have a bit of a stand-off with Nicholas – Nick sarcastically remarks to his father that he's "always right", to which Nicholas responds that it's taken Nick "forty years" to acknowledge that. Hence, that would make Amaro older than 40. Might I also add, what is the likelihood of a 41 year old actor portraying a 35 year old character, as opposed to one being 40? —

This tweet from SVU confirms twenty years. I suppose you haven't heard of
Bianca Lawson. She was an actress of Pretty Little Liara. She was around end of 20s or early 30s when she portrayed the role of Maya St. Germaine, a teenager. Age from the actor does not matter in some cases.

Well there's conflicting reports about how old he is, so therefore it should be left out. 5 year difference. —
