Reporting errors |
Is this product line profitable? Would be interested to know, and might be a good addition to the article. Can't find any news on that (unlike movies, where everyone and their dog knows if something was a flop), but then I wouldn't know where to look. The reason I ask is that it seems like Nerf missed quite a big market with these. On the surface it looks like they'd be suitable for use as foam weapons for LARP. But as it turns out, they're not considered safe for it - the core is too thick, the foam is to thin, so you can feel the hard core through the foam when you're hit, and you could break someone's nose with a misplaced strike to the face. Was Nerf aiming for the larp market and missed, or is the general market so large that the larp market wasn't worth trying for? Ryan Paddy ( talk) 19:47, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
