May I have permission to use this blog article link for the Disney Pinocchio 1940 section.

I've recently watched Pinocchio and noticed a scene in Pleasure Island where there were Native American statues throwing out cigars to the boys. I was going to use this blog article from Out of the Closet; Embracing Disney link since there aren't any citation link sources. This is the only link I could find, I was going to add it in Native Americans in film Wikipedia article but then I got the warning message about using blogspot articles. [1]

May I have permission to use this blogspot article link Pinocchio - First Nations or ask someone on Wikipedia to put it in the Native Americans in animation in Pinocchio 1940 section? Let me know because nobody online really notices that there's actually that Native American statues scene in Pinocchio 1940. CrosswalkX ( talk) 14:00, 26 March 2022 (UTC) reply

Beyond being a blog, I see some key issues with the content at that link (conflating “Native Americans” and “First Nations” is a red flag for me). I recommend doing some keyword searching around Google scholar (“Pinocchio” “Native Americans”). Chances are it might not be on the general internet, but multiple academics have probably written about it since Disney’s utilization and reinforcement of these stereotypes is well known.
