This article is valuable for providing the ethoxylation reaction mechanism(s). But it does not explain polymerizarion. Presumably on the first cycle, Nu is OH-, then on subsequent cycles Nu is the O- group of the polymer generated in the previous cycle? It would be nice to show this figure on the
polyethylene glycol page where the reaction is described under "production".
