I recall that this article used to mention the DNA test that was done a few years ago which confirmed that Napoleon III was not the son of his father. What happened? Why was it removed? -- Lecen ( talk) 21:45, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

I used the painted portrait in editing the earlier article because it is in color, is used at the top of French Wikipedia article, and shows him at his peak of his reign. The current photo comes from the end of his reign and makes him look old and asleep. I think the photo is acceptable, but I still wish we had a more sympathetic color portrait in the lead.Respectfully, SiefkinDR ( talk) 11:19, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
It is said that he left Kassel on March 19 and arrived in England on March 20. That was not possible in 1871. Something has to be wrong here. 2A00:801:7B9:5F19:46D9:9B76:BE8B:5DDB ( talk) 06:21, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
