If the "town came to the worlds attention from 2002 and onwards," where are the sources proving this? Chesdovi ( talk) 23:12, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
The village and its history came to the world's attention from 2002 onwards, as several Qassam-rockets were fired from the Gaza strip, with the aim of hitting Sderot and other Israeli towns, from where the Palestinians had once been expelled.
Does anyone know if Najd was located in what was to be the Arab state, or what was to be the Jewish state (Israel)? Looking at the maps in Morris (2004), it looks to me as if Najd was located in what was supposed to be the Arab state,- but I have found no fool-proof reference.
