I really think this should be deleted because it lacks an encyclopedic tone -- it makes it seem like the article is persuading or otherwise trying to send a message (which, as a person who is queer, i would support, except it's lacking NPOV) that should be put in the description of the crime itself. Does that make sense? I hope that makes sense. I dunno. The list formatting really isn't working for me here. Anyone else feel that?
I agree that it's a somewhat confused section. The link given is dead, but
here is the original Courier article should any other editor want to revisit the section and rewrite it for inclusion again.
