This is the first I've heard of a multicategory (very interesting) but --- "...an associativity condition (involving a further level of composition) that takes a long time to write down." Does anybody know "the short version" (assuming there is one) so it can be written down in the article? (in addition, I notice Currying is endemic to multicategories--put identity functions in some positions when composing. Perhaps that relationship bears a mention).
