Shouldn't the List of supported systems go to its own page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Palpalpalpal ( talk • contribs) 10:37, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Can anybody describe the design principles of Mess? And the history of it's development. In fact, this article is pretty barren apart from the list. I have marked it as a stub because, despite it's length, there is very little actual content. -- HappyDog 17:31, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Image:Mess.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 22:13, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
I had to move the page to this disambiguation link due to a bug. See [1]. -- Stux 17:39, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
At least according to its FAQ: "MESS is open source so anyone who knows the C programming language can help improve the project." http://mess.redump.net/faq It also says it is "really free", not sure if that means FLOSS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.254.153.10 ( talk) 00:44, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
I reverted the last revision as it is incorrect. David Haywood is not a member of mamedev and hasn't been for years. (He was MAME project coordinator at one point in the past, but he was later kicked off the mamedev list for obnoxious behaviour.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.44.171.191 ( talk) 01:13, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
I think now that MESS has been completely merged with MAME in 0.162, the two WP articles should be merged too. -- Morn ( talk) 12:37, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
