why is he not coloured?
This article needs to be cleaned up. Thus, a cleanup tag is in order. Come on, the damned thing is half SSBM, half cartoon and nadda for the games he first appeared in! -- A Link to the Past 10:34, July 31, 2005 (UTC)
CONS: Light Laggy moves Relatively slow running and walking speeds Several moves that are almost useless or highly situational Can be chain thrown Probably worst shield in the game -credit to kitfox
PROS: Powerful Throws are excellent set ups Great recovery Very cool Useful air attacks Great wavedash to make up for shield Good priority Decent CC, and CCC
oh ya can anyone tell me waht the heck his foward air attack is? what game did that come out of?
It's a credit card,& I don't know whare it came from.-- DarkHero 23:51, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Here's what I think the article's layout should look like:
Just my thoughts on how we might go about cleaning up this article. BTW I'ma remove that list of credits, and maybe the episode listing, as it just seems out of place. -- gakon5 (talk)
Is how to unlock Mr. G+W considered a spoiler? -- gakon5 (talk)
It has not been officially confirmed that G&W will not be in SSBB. It is likely that rumor was false. Please do not put up any speculation like that in the future.
We really don't need that. Wikipedia isn't a player's guide, and a list of button combos for a video game isn't encyclopedic. I didn't completely delete that section, but I hid it in comment tags... Powerslave ( talk- contribs) 02:25, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
What does he throw when he performs Chef? Is it sausage, or bacon? I'm just wondering because someone recently changed the article to say bacon instead of sausages. -- Luigi Maniac 13:01, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
I think Mr. Game & Watch is a year older than Mario (though Mario's age is pretty much unkown), since "Jumpman" was created a year after Mr. Game & Watch. In the actual article, would it be cool to say that he's around Mario's age for this reason? Fourange 18:18, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Could we put that in the article? I happen to have a list... Fourange 17:36, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Check out those little icons on the Brawl website for each update. Each corresponds to the icons in the game. Melee had 14 franchise icons, Ice Climbers are icon 14, Animal Crossing is 15, and there's one last icon spot open before 14, it being 13. This suggests to me that Game and Watch is returning, his being the last Melee franchise to need to return; however, it is obviously not solid enough for Wikipedia to go about saying "MR. GAME AND WATCH IS CONFIRMED GUYS". However, would this be notable enough to mention on the article, while still making it clear that this is not 100% confirmation? Evan1109 19:22, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Z-Shielding fully covers him. Plus, as long as that competitive sidenote thing is there, that citation tag won't leave. Fourange 18:30, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
I believe that this article needs to be merged with the Game & Watch article. There is already a section about the character on this page, but it should be expanded using some more information from this article, as well as other information that anyone else might know of. The SSB data is not appropriate other than the mention that the character is part of the game and that he was first seen in that game ( if that is indeed the case).
I believe that once these edits are complete, the page should be converted to a redirect, not deleted, so that others may more easily find this information. — OranL ( talk) 09:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Done. Please head over to the Game & Watch article to find the Mr. Game & Watch section. Feel more than free to edit this section, as I am not very knowledgeable on this subject. I have left many cite tags to let people know that most of this information is not referenced and needs someone who knows more about this subject. — OranL ( talk) 20:15, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
