The introduction says that Mount Kelly School was created by the merger of two neighboring schools, "one better than the other." Since the person who wrote this did not say which was the better school, and has not explained why it was better, I suggest this piece of editorial be deleted.
In accord with suggestions in this Teahouse thread I propose that Kelly College be merged into this article. The article now says that "Mount Kelly was established in June 2014 following the merger of two neighbouring Schools, Kelly College (founded in 1877) and Mount House School (founded in 1881)." Is there a reason to retain a separate article for Kelly College? DES (talk) 17:24, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
I feel that we should keep the Kelly College page to preserve the historical significance of the school, it has specific information as a college that does not translate to the new school. Mount Kelly School is a completely new organisation/business regardless of building and location history. We also need to have the two schools separated to help with google SEO, right now it is causing massive conflicts on returned results in the Knowledge Graph. Red Demon 2015 ( talk) 10:02, 20 November 2015 (UTC)
The suggestion to delete the kelly College page is disgraceful, kelly had a proud record as a minor public school for almost 100 years, that remains an historical fact worthy of retention as a separate item on Wikipedia, it will be many years before Mount Kelly equals that record whatever its merits as an educational establishment. If the current management support this idea I can only think they are afraid of the comparison. There are repeated additions to this page referring to the Mount Kelly International School, which are factually incorrect and refer to media speculation. Whilst this media speculation can of course be mentioned, it is being presented as fact and also with bias, not giving balance to the article. Also the article in English is badly worded. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.6.229.182 ( talk) 09:15, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
