Michelle is a mezzo soprano, however she has a high vocal range and is comfortable as both a soprano and alto. Michelle's a whistle register singer?
Michelle has a great voice I have her CD and to this day it is still my favorite. Now that the girls are going to do solo projects I think that Michelle and the girls have the potential to be as big as Micheal Jackson. I wish them the very best and hopefully there will be another Destiny's Child album. Listen to Bootylicious. She squeaks up high at the end.

The article says Williams was born in 1980 but she appears in the 1981 birthday list. PedanticallySpeaking 17:10, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Someone placed her birth year as 1979. She was born in 1980. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.87.180.63 ( talk) 04:28, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Since Michelle Williams joined Destiny Child's prior to the group's two Grammy wins in 2000, didn't she receive her own awards two? She was officially a member by that time. If so that would make her Grammy wins with Destiny's Child three instead of one. TJ 06:13, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
That would be correct. She doesn't receive a Grammy for appearing in music videos and joining a group who receives a Grammy for an album she had no partaking in whatsoever. She would have actually received a Grammy for "Independent Women" from "Survivor" since that's the first album she recorded with Destiny's Child.

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. So according to the WP page, Michelle's new album comes out this fall but according to Michelle's MySpace blog, she specifically stated that was false info and the album, indeed, is coming out 8/12. Now Amazon is listing the release date as October...so is the advertising on her MySpace page. Do we have sources? Jgcarter ( talk) 01:51, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
