This page should have more inormation about Mr. Yasgur. The bulk of this page makes reference to the Woodstock Festival, but should include more about Mr. Yasgur. On another note, the statements Mr. Yasgur made at the festival were made in 1969, therefore his statements may have been accurate, not to mention they were, for the most part, improvised.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Hd85ironhead ( talk • contribs) 05:05, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

I have not seen any references that support the assertion that Sam Yasgur helped convince his father to rent the land to the Woodstock Festival. Can anyone add a reference, or should the information be deleted as dubious? -- Ssilvers ( talk) 16:42, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

This article gives his full name as "Max B. Yasgur", omitting what "B" stands for. Maybe it's because in his grave, the name is ommited too. However, his hebrew name in the grave is "Mordechai Binyamin" ( https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/8452/max-yasgur#view-photo=142430679), wich is an indicator that the "B" stands for "Benjamin" (it's a common practice among american jews to have a jewish second name matching the hebrew name). 12:43, 19 August 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 177.223.193.202 ( talk)
To add to the article: the amount of money Yasgur was paid by the Woodstock Festival organizers for the rental of his land. 173.88.246.138 ( talk) 06:43, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
