Hello @
Cyphoidbomb:, Isn't it incorrect to refer this site
[1] for BLP?
I saw a lot of articles refer IMDb which according to policy is inappropriate to link to for BLP. What do you think of
Asha Parekh article? I saw only IMBd is supporting her birth place and date. Should remove it or put a Citation tag in the empty space?
Hi
Fylindfotberserk, I wouldn't use Filmibeat for that. Generally speaking we don't consider them a reliable source for controversial data. IMDb should not be used as well. Not sure what you're asking me about
Asha Parekh. Her DOB looks unsourced to me, so we should either find a quality source for the birth date or remove it. Re: the youtube link, I wouldn't treat the video description as authoritative. For all we know they copied the information from Wikipedia. If the video itself discusses her birth date, then perhaps. "Verified" only really helps us determine whether or not the video is a potential copyright violation. In some cases it can help establish authority, like if were the Bollywood Hungama channel or (in this case) some major Gujarati news outlet. Regards,
